During my years at Longwood, I joined a sorority, rode for the Longwood Equestrian Team, worked endless hours in sports broadcast, became a leader in Chi Alpha Campus Ministry, and a member of Lambda Pi Eta's Communications Honors Society. Becoming a leader of Chi Alpha my senior year, I jumped right on board, helping run events and taking a missions trip to Ethiopia. This was one of the most life-changing trips that will forever impact me.

 

      At Longwood University, I studied the field of communications mass media, taking on three various internships and ultimately finding my passion. After graduating, I began working as a full-time freelance videographer and marketing strategist, helping multiple clients tell their stories through digital media. This opportunity pushed me in skills ranging from managing a team to video editing and content writing.

 

      Moving to Richmond, Virginia, in February 2017, I took a position as the Marketing Coordinator of Salem Church Products to grow my knowledge and understanding of digital marketing. This experience allowed me to develop my knowledge of social media, videos, and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and has increased my overall knowledge of numbers driven marketing. This position quickly groomed me to become the Senior Marketing Strategist and Videographer for Rockit Creative Solutions when I moved to Lynchburg, Virginia. 

 

       In Lynchburg, I spend my time outside of work enjoying the mountains, traveling, painting, at the gym, and hanging out with friends! I have a passion for adventure and love helping companies reach their goals. I'm excited to find a position that encourages a healthy lifestyle, values strong communication skills, and is ready to excel their marketing efforts.
